La Tela- The Canvas A casual Neapolitan pizzeria featuring the talent and tastes of many local “artists.” We view our local coffee roaster, farmers, and tea producer as artists of their craft. They are passionate about their coffee, vegetables and tea just as we are passionate about our freshly baked breads, handmade pasta, and Neapolitan pizza. La Tela is a canvas for many “artists” with their many mediums. La Tela Pizzeria is a family-owned and operated Neapolitan style pizzeria focusing on the fundamentals of Italian Cuisine. At La Tela classic Italian dishes are created using only the freshest local and finest imported ingredients. Between the imported wood-fired pizza oven and pasta machine, both from Italy, La Tela is as traditional as it gets. Freshly baked bread, hand-made pasta, wood-fired pizza and freshly ground espresso to top it off. La Tela Pizzeria is truly bringing a taste of Italy to Freshfields Village. La Tela also offers a wide selection of Italian wines, dessert wines, wine pairings, domestic, imported, and craft beers. Meet the Owners: Executive Chef Edward Rinaldi, second-generation restaurateur, has owned and operated restaurants for more than 30 years. Chef de cuisine Frank Rinaldi, third-generation restaurateur, is a BPS graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
